Largemouth BassTechniqueNeko RigsSeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureBrush PilesHead to Marl Bay. My Garmin showed the entire area as shallow, but it's a big, deep bowl. Go slow through the channel leading into the bay. The water is crystal clear so look out for submerged stumps as you head into the bay. We fished brush piles on the ledge of the drop off using neko rigs, Texas rigged rage bugs, and trick worms on shakey heads. All worked equally well. At one point we had 9 straight casts brining in bass. No monsters, but I'll take that action any day on the water. I landed one very nice unexpected walleye on a jackhammer. That was the only fish on the jackhammer.

Skipping docks with a wacky rig can produce a very large amount of fish. 50 fish days are not uncommon out on Lee lake flowage!
