Wind was blowing pretty well. Caught 4 bass in 6-8 foot of water above scattered rocks and soft bottom. They were loving the 6th sense provoke jerkbait. Changed it up with 2 twitches to 3 twitches with a little pause.

Went back into an inlet on this lake. Wind was blowing hard so we wanted to get where it was a little calm. We saw some beds and lots of fishing roaming. Caught this one a little deeper in the weedy area.

The bass are transitioning from their winter homes to them shallows. On sunny days they will move up in the afternoon from 12’-15’ of water to 4’-6’ to feed. Use a Megabass SV-3 in Wakasagi without a trailer to simulate a school of baitfish. Use it near weed lines in that transition area of 6’-10’. No special action needed, just cast and slow roll it along the weed lines. You’ll be on the fish in no time.

Can't say enough how well the Black Blue Yamatanuki was today. Rig it up on a medium heavy bait caster with 15 lb fluorocarbon. Use a 5/0 texas hook. The bait is heavy enough to where you do not need any weight. Go weightless. So easy to pitch and flip docks. This thing flat out catches fish!!!

We were flipping docks for a bit and a gentleman that owned a home on lake said he saw a fish sitting near his dock. We went to that side and found this smallmouth sitting on a bed. Threw the bait on her bed and she bit it twice and I missed her. Then 3rd time was a charm. She couldn't resist! Great fight!

Casting up shallow on the sides of docks and caught this smallie on the front corner. Maybe 3 feet of water and it hammered my yamatanuki!
