We fished 10 minutes before the firs Lunker bass smacked a green swim jig with a Scheels trailer w/chartreuse tail. Pike seemed to like the swim jigs with more red and white. If the swim jig slowed down, the blades jig picked up the slack. Ended up hitting the lake 3 times in 4 days and did solid every time. Even a 32 inch musky!

The worm would get hit most of the time on the fall of the bait or after a couple of pops bringing it back to the boat.

Action on this fine lake had slowed and we often catch small "eating sized" pike here. So we work working a spot where the submerged weeds were transitioning into a line of reeds. Right on this edge I found a spot where some hog sized largemouth bass were holding and the pounded my double willow leaf spinnerbait! This can be a great lake and it can hold some huge bass and the Musky can be a nice surprise. Lots one that inhaled my spinnerbait two years in a row

We casted and reeled crankbaits for pike, musky, and bass. I hooked into a muskie but he got off and caught a nice bass on a jointed rapala. The rapala was blue and white.
