Slow retrieve with a small keitech swimbait. Caught at least 40 bass in an hour or two from shore, with only a few of them being bigger than 14”. Best action I’ve ever experienced in this cold of water!

Fishing a ditch dividing two spawning flats with deep water in close proximity

I was able to land a few very nice fish by deadsticking a senko on submerged weed flats in 3 feet of water, keep an eye out for the milfoil edges, where it opens up into the shorter weeds, the bass seem to be holding close to the edge, or schooling in the center. I imagine these fish are still prespawn, as I have not seen a huge amount of fish on beds.

Didn't get out until about 11am. Started pretty good but very slow the rest of the day. Caught 2 keepers and lost between 5-6.

My line was tangled up on my rod and a boat was passing through the canal I was fishing. I didn’t realize I had a fish on until I completely reeled it in. It fought pretty hard for its size. Had a blast catching it.

Caught this nice sized Largemouth Bass on a yellow and white chatter bait with a fluke on it. It fought very hard for its size. Had a blast catching it.
