With water so clear had to make long casts and just dead stick the bait, the less you did the better. You wouldn’t feel a bite it would just get heavy. Matte black flat cat was the juice. The picture posted shows the one time it got really heavy with an accidental Muskie.

Just casting at secluded boulders off of main lake points and secondary points. You could see the boulder on scope and most of the time there were a couple big Smallmouth sitting on top of them. cracked a 19lb bag of Smallmouth in about 3 hours.
