Summertime post spawn fishing deeper grass 8-10 fow. Flipping and pitching at holes in the grass in the pockets off the main lake.. Dragging that new Yamamoto bait weightless through the weeds picked up some real nice fish! And the old trusty drop shot along the weed edges.. ended the derby with 16.25

Deeper grass mixed with wood the 7-10 foot range produced the bigger fish 3 over 4lbs. Dragging the pit boss in the grass. Also a lot of smaller fish were in the shallow water flipping docks.

Ozark rig with a black 5”worm.. fish are in a post spawn funk, water was 76 degrees, A lot of small fish under docks. Skipping/dragging the Ozark rig through grass.. You have to cover a lot of ground to find the best grass in the lake right now they just sprayed it..

Smallmouth and walleye will be in hoisington in the prespawn. Throw a 1/4-3/8 oz swim bait head with a 3.3 swim bait and throw along the breaks and at the points around the lake.
