Found some solid fish today. Fish were not yet pulled up in the backs of creeks but in 15 to 20 feet of water working there way to the backs of the creeks.Find the Shad and you will find the fish.

Flipping a jig on shallow docks with middle water, as well as throwing a spinnerbait in the same areas when the clouds are out. A Shad colored squarebill also produced around points and rocky banks

Surface temps were in the 90s but below the surface it was in the 80s. Seen lots of bass and bluegill when dropping the aqua vu on a the dam and docks.

We recently placed 3rd in the Auburn University ACA College Tournament on Logan Martin flipping wood and throwing a shallow diving crankbait. We started the morning flipping a Berkley MaxScent Creature Hawg around shallow lay downs with deep water access. We then transitioned to fishing shallow rock with a Berkley Frittside as the morning bite slowed. Cranking shallow rock filled out our limit for the day, while flipping gave us the quality bites we needed to have a good finish.
