Caught about 5:00pm on the jetty. Super thick grass. Tried to cast just outside of the thickest stuff and let it fall. Drug it across the bottom and let it sit. This joker hit it right after the jig was sitting and it gave it a quick jump up. I can’t emphasize how thick the grass is. I have 40lb braid on with either a googan jig or 6th sense grass jig. Trying to tell the difference between a bite and being hung up is tough, but they are down there. Fish on y’all!

Anywhere along the bank, just outside the vegetation line, a couple hours before sundown; that’s when the bluegill are feeding. Small hook, small bobber, live red worms from Walmart. The worms worked really well at Lone Jack Lake, the kids even reeled in a few Overall caught a dozen bluegill, two catfish, and three bass; checkout my other reports for the bass at this lake.
