Skipped wacky rigs around docks, and had absolutely zero success. Water visibility is 4 inches, at best, due to an algae bloom.

This lake has gone down hill in recent years. It used to be a nice little secret for quality bass. Now too many people keeping those bass and a nasty algae bloom have made the fishing tough and lowered the overall size. I'll check it again next year but this year it's done for me.

Nice over cast morning, my first time here. Wasn't sure if there was an algae bloom or something cause it was really murky and green. In the morning it was fire, caught them off docks with a tiny Nishine Jig, seemed like downsizing jigs worked better. Also caught many on a large bluegill swimbait off isolated weed patches in around 5-6ft of water. Cranked it past any weed patches I saw and they'd eat. Spinnerbait and chatter wasn't producing for me, Berkley Choppo worked well tho in the same 5-6fow weeds.
