March 21, fished mid day. Water was 47*. Sunny and a 15+mph south wind. Fished the windy side of Long lake and Canada lake(small connected lake). Fished the shadow rap up shallow and shadow rap deep just off the initial drop just above green weeds. Staying off the bank and making long cast seemed important. Used extremely aggressive jerks with a couple second pause between jerks. When I found them I stayed in that spot. Did not catch any big fish but caught around 30, 8-15 inch largemouth. This pattern is ideal with heavy wind conditions, this jerkbait bite can be good shortly after ice melts all the way till the spawn.
