TechniqueHard Topwater (Popping)SeasonSummerStructureDocksThrowing poppers and plastics are always a good bet to catch them at prior lake. I only fish prior on cooler cloudier days when there is not so much recreational activity. Plenty of docks to fish

TechniqueBobbersSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationGot on some nice sunfish in the bays in 8-10 FOW off of weed lines. Old fashioned bobber rigged to a small ice fishing jig tipped with ice fishing plastic.

TechniqueDrop ShotSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationTargeted the scattered clumps of milfoil and coontail with sunfish beds scattered among them. Slowly, extra slowly, dragging and pausing a soft plastic jerkbait across the beds and through the weed clumps produced numerous fish, adding a few gentle twitches on slack line proved effective in coaxing bites out of some of the bigger fish. The sunfish will absolutely blast your bait the whole time it is down there, just maintain the extra slow drag and pause with some subtle shakes here and there.

TechniqueHard Topwater (Prop)SeasonSummerStructureBouldersTop water bite was on all morning into early afternoon. The low light conditions, warm water temps, and very light chop were perfect for throwing a prop bait. I used the Whopper Plopper most of the day and fished around docks, points, and shallow cover. I lost a couple nice ones unfortunately, but still ended the day with about a dozen fish total. The top water bite died down by early afternoon so I switched to soft plastic swim baits and caught a few more smaller ones.
