Largemouth BassTechniqueSwim JigsSeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureReedsUp shallow, most of the largemouth have finished spawning. There may be a straggler or two on a deeper bed while you're flipping that you didn't see, but they're mostly done. There are a few different types of reeds, but Reeds with a harder bottom content are holding bigger fish, but there are fish in almost every single stretch of weeds. They are SHALLOW, so idle in instead of running in so hard. If they miss the swim jig, I flip the 1/2 oz tungsten weight around and can pick off the more finnicky ones that way. Natural Colors have been the KEY! I know a lot of guys post videos with white and pink, but in my experience, the natural colors get bigger bites out here. Canals are playing a large role right now, which is also where the flipping setup is coming into play with different kinds of grass. This place is loaded with fish and you will catch more fish than you probably ever have in a day. Youtube Video! : https://youtu.be/sc-BuIPDUzY
