Sneaky deep bite out here. Got 2nd out here and fished deep all day long. Otherwise there is endless amounts of fish to be caught shallow.

Fishing is tough on Mantrap in July, but not impossible. Largemouth were caught in a variety of ways in all areas of the lake. There seems to be no discernible pattern. Bass were chasing swim jigs, crankbaits, topwater frogs, and bladed jigs. A majority of fish were caught in 8-12 feet of water and submerged weeds with drop shot rigs.
