Casting well into cover will also trigger strikes once coming out of cover. Also casting squarebills or other crankbaits just off of these areas, but in 8-10 ft of water, is productive.

Largemouth were caught in a variety of ways in all areas of the lake. There seems to be no discernible pattern. Bass were chasing swim jigs, crankbaits, topwater frogs, and bladed jigs. A majority of fish were caught in 8-12 feet of water and submerged weeds with drop shot rigs.
