Largemouth BassTechniqueStructure JigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationFish deeper throughout the middle of the day if it's hot out. In the evening you can get away by coming up shallower, around 10 feet or a little less. Pitch and retrieve your jig slowly into submerged weedlines. Don't pass up super thick vegetation or pads, the thick stuff can be annoying to fish but it holds fish and it never fails me.

CrappieTechniqueCrappie Dock ShootingSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureDocksFound crappies moving around in shallow bays along with bluegill and juvenile bass. Had to move around to the windblown side of the bay to follow the school as they relocated with the conditions throughout the weekend. Small jigs with primarily black and chartreuse tubes or creature baits were the ticket.

Largemouth BassTechniqueDrop ShotSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationWeed growth has been very aggressive and much further along than usual for this time of year. Started shallow with a chatterbait working the weed edges shallow to deep and found the larger fish pushed out a bit. Even found a few blue gill starting to relate to beds. Slowed down with a bigger jig and ned rig then really found the nicer fish in the middle of the deeper weeds (10-12 ft) with a drop shot. A few pike mixed in too but good numbers and size overall.

Start by flipping a tube all around the outside before flipping under. If you don't get bit right away, reel in and cast to a different spot.
