Largemouth BassTechniqueShakey HeadsSeasonFallStructureSubmerged VegetationLast derby of the season last night on Maple. Bite was pretty slow until sunset. A few fish caught on a Texas rigged craw tube in 4-6 feet in the weeds. Closer to sunset the bite heated up on a jig worm, 8-12 feet in and around the weed line. Big fish was 3 lbs.

Largemouth BassTechniqueStructure JigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationFish deeper throughout the middle of the day if it's hot out. In the evening you can get away by coming up shallower, around 10 feet or a little less. Pitch and retrieve your jig slowly into submerged weedlines. Don't pass up super thick vegetation or pads, the thick stuff can be annoying to fish but it holds fish and it never fails me.
