If you are able to find some grass that may be a good place to look for fish. With much of the grass gone I focused most of my attention on hard cover and was able to find some fish deep off points and secondary points near bluffs.

Caught 2 nice ones on a Texas rig 10 inch worm. Both came off lay downs. One was 4 lbs and the other was 3.6. Also caught a 2 lber swimming a strike king hack attack jig in green pumpkin over grass.

Caught a few nice bass on paddle tails. Also got into a school of small crappie. Both the bass and crappie were chasing bait fish so practically any paddle tail/minnow lure was catching them.

Flipping laydowns with a 10 inch worm, i caught a 4-10 and a few other smaller ones.

I caught this 4.40lb bass flipping a Strike King Rage Craw into isolated grass. The water was 80 degrees at 5am and warmed to 85 by 1pm. This was the only fish of the day besides a couple 12” bass caught on a drop shot.
