    Had a quick couple hours to kayak fish. Fished the south side of the lake which has a large amount of thick sludgy matted grass. Just fan casted a frog all around the openings in the mats and was able to catch several fish with a couple decent ones Mixed in. The water temp is in the upper 70s and I would imagine that most of the fish are post spawn.. throwing a bladed jig, or a spinnerbait on the deep weed edge of wind blown arras always produces some good bass/pike on this lake as well.

    Top water bite was going crazy! Anywhere you can find some weeds to drag a frog through that provides shade for the bass you will more than likely get bit!
