Kids fished panfish caught ton’s with 5 nice keepers, Bass are starting to move into beds, same with the gills. Bass wouldn’t bite on tubes, sankos, or bladed jigs. Should have probably tried a shakey head, or flipping jig.

Panfish were shallow but primarily shallows next to the channel, nothing in the backwaters and slews yet. Great time with the family, small in size but good fun for anyone.

Hit the ice for a couple hours before work, Ice has 1 ft snow, 3 inches of slush, pretty cruddy ice but about 10 inches in the spot I was in. Plenty of fish sitting in a hole but no bites, saw a lot on the camera, nothing would bite. Weather is warming hopefully get the boat out soon.

Largemouth were feeding on small panfish during key bite windows during the day. Slow rolling a chatterbait was the best way to target them.
