So I took one of my buddy to go fishing in Minneapolis last Saturday at Medicine Lake. The lake was very shallow and has a lot of vegetation around us, so we decided to used Top Water(Spook/Frog). Around 10am, my buddy caught a Bass with MegaBass Dog-X Diamante Tennessee. It weight around 2.70Ib, almost a 3 pounder. The Tennessee is very effective especially a Top Water Bait due to its gold color that reflects throught sunlight. Very pricey but highly recommend it

Fall is a great time to fish Medicine Lake. The biggest fish in the lake tend to group up on rock this time of year. Dragging Carolina rigs and ned rigs over deep Rock can produce fantastic results, if the sun is shining or conditions are a bit tough try moving a little shallower and finding rock mixed with weeds, a 1/2 oz jig can with well. Also don't overlook the reeds next to the launch they can hold a few bonus fish.
