Threw buzz bait around laydowns and plopper on open banks and around docks. That bite died off as day went on switched over to finesse. Skipping Senko around and under docks and Ned rig on rock. Everything came out of 8’ or less of water.

Caught 3 keepers and 4 non keepers along a 150-yard stretch. spent the afternoon in one cove and caught 4 more keepers with the Senko. Caught 2 largest fish with a Strike King Popping perch in 2 feet of water in the back of the cove and lost 2 more.

Found them good in windblown pockets. Bass were hanging on the edge of grass ambushing bait as it was blown in. 3/8s jackhammer worked fast along the grass edges drew reaction strikes.
