On April 13th my brother and I ventured out to i75 in Florida, specifically to got to alligator alley, there's several rest areas with parallel canals, these canals hold very nice peacock bass, the morning started off rough, had about a 30 Inch tarpon hit on a zman swim bait paired to a 3/8 jig head, nice fight till he threw the hook, proceeded to land 3 peacock bass 1 small one on a live shad, 1 19 inch peacock that you see in the photo on a popper, gotta love that top water action, then I got the female as well on a top water prop bait.
