Made an stop coming back from SW NH to see conditions at Messer Pond. Fished from the bank for about an hour alternating between chatterbait and Texas-rigged 5" senko. Chatterbait was worked along edges of pads and other patches of emergent vegetation. Senko was also worked along edges as well as swimming over the pads and allowing it to sink into pockets. Produced three largemouths and two pickerel while working area.
