The smallies were a bit lethargic and non-committal. Topwater was ineffective. Casting wacky under branches and into stumps produced quality fish, just not quantity. The water was relatively low even with the recent heavy rains.

Shoreline structure since flows were still above normal. Used Jackhammer with Razorshad as a trailer. Constant retrieve, sometimes slower if depth was deeper.

Fish were caught on a variety of techniques including topwater, flukes, wackys, and neds. Fish were relating to current breaks, boulders, and weed lines/edges.

Current was swift, water clarity was good and water level was about average. Fish were off the banks and on near wood, 3 smallmouth between 18 1/2 to 20 inch.
