TechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSummerStructureLily PadsPerfect day after the record-breaking week of heat. Water is down probably 3' on average. Tons of lily pads to pick through here. Early AM fun with the Whopper Plopper (not much interest in frogs today). Dropshot (or any finesse worms really) resulted in tons of bites along the weed lines. Most were in good healthy sizes of 16 - 18" for me today. However, the largest ones were from slow rolling the bladed jig (Jack Hammers) up towards shore into the thickest weeds. All from 3ft or less of water!
