Caught a mixture of spotted bass and largemouth out of the grass. In the mornings they were hitting wacky (Smoke Senko) pretty hard then once the sun got up we made the switch to shaky heads (Green pumpkin w/ blue flake) to keep the bit going. I heard of some people getting bits on swim jigs on the grass edges but I could not generate any bites that way. Check out the video for more details. Fish are still suspended and chowing down on schools of bait fish. They move really fast so it is hard to stay on top of them and get a bait in front of them. If you can get a bait in front of them they bite almost every time though. They should be spawning soon.
