Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureLily PadsWent to Moodus Reservoir on a cloudy day to do some bank fishing along the bridge. Lots of lily pads so I knew there would be fish there. What worked best were Texas rigged 3 inch senkos casting near the lily pads and letting it sink down. There weren’t many fish in the open water so all of my strikes were on the initial drop. I would cast to all the areas you can before moving on to a different section. Lots of submerged vegetation in the area, so prioritize top water and weedless lures. I ended up with 4 Largemouth and 1 Chain Pickerel.
