Water temperatures are sitting about 65 to 68 degrees. Strong winds today it was sunny with cold winds. The wind helped carrier great distraction on top water baits. Bright colors such as green yellow and white are making a wonderful appeal for bass. I've made great appeal for a catfish on today's adventure. Using a consistent slow retrieve made to most progress in these conditions presented so far going g into the colder seasons. Just remember Morgan lake is a lakes we can fish all year round. We have this ability due to the plant producing warm waters to the lake all year allowing anglers to fish all year long like myself. Hope the tips help and the information help with future fishing adventures.

Water Temps are cooling dramatically. Strong bites on drop shot yesterday not very many bites in anything without live baits such as worms. Chatterbait got fewer bites but still had little success

The fish are finally staring to move up shallow and are really starting to focus mainly on shad and shad shapes. We caught them the best dragging around isolated grass patches and boulders. Fishing should continue to pick up with the continuation of cold nights.
