TechniqueFinesse JigsSeasonSummerStructureBaitfishThe fish are biting! you really can’t go wrong anything shad shaped and moving will get you the bites expect 60-70 fish days fishing the shad boils in the hot water. You can find some bigger fish if you fish the tree and a little deeper. The fishing is back to its summer patterns and fish can be found all around the lake either shallow chasing gills and deep chasing big gizzards. I also found a really great glide bait bite and wake bait bite toward the evening.

Most caught flipping grass cover or cranking with a square bill with a fast steady retrieve. When running topwater best reactions were with slight pause with a slow retrieve. When fishing a fluke slight twitches with long paused using a weed less straight shank hook was the best when running hook through the tips of the flukes.
