Most smallies will be found between 5-10 feet of water, and will be seen circling their bed. To catch them, I used a 3-3¾ inch Strike King Rage Swimmer, and basically bounced it all over the fishes bed till it was angry and ate it. They usually don't get it all the way, since they are not actually trying to eat, so pay VERY close attention to the where the fish is in relation to the swimbait.
