Tossed a Keitech swim jig on a 3/16 oz Keitech jig head on the deeper side of the lake. Let it sink to just above the submerged vegetation and slow retrieve. Caught several medium size LM bass.

Dragging and popping the ned rig across the deeper weeds in 6-8 feet of water produced a good quantity of smaller fish.

Caught some nice bass pitching a Texas rigged worm among the submerged vegetation. The Mustad hook is strong enough to not bend out if the fish go into the weeds when caught.

Casting a green pumpkin and purple chatter bait with a gold blade with a twin tailed hula grub among the lily pads produced a good quantity of bass.

This lake appears to warm up quick & is ahead of other lakes in the metro. Water temps 65F. Few males guarding fry, but most of the fish seemed to be Post Spawn. Target wood surrounded by vegetation. Weedless wacky rig 5" Yum Dingers and pitch D-Bombs into the thicker clumps when required.

Work the deeper grass edges and isolated grass clumps with the jerkbait for good numbers of fish. Longer pauses (6-10ct) in your cadence will produce the bites.
