I was throwing a ned rig around the shore lines and trying to get some bass of their beds but nothing seemed to work. The bass must be really locked on now with the recent warm temps we have had in Wisconsin. Tight lines and good luck!

Largemouth bass and northern pike were active today; though not predictable areas. Fish seemed to be roaming and the most consistent bites came in areas with subtle changes in vegetation. I managed 10+ largemouth and 2 pike over a 6 hour span.

A buddy and I got out for a few hours this morning and managed a dozen or so largemouth, the biggest was 19” (~4lbs), and half a dozen pike. Most fish were in 2-3’ of water where there was sparse vegetation or a transition on vegetation types. The wind was fairly strong today and we saw the most action on the windward side of bogs. We also caught some on spinnerbaits, but nothing on bladed jigs. We were surprised to see the water temps so low with other area lakes significantly warmer.
