Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Pitch/Flip)SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureStumpsEnded up in 4th today in a local derb with 12-15lbs. Absolute grinder of a day. Two tourneys running at the same time had 100 boats out there. Really had to pick apart areas and slow down. Was flippin’ mainly wood and seawalls with a texas rig. Sight fished a couple that were in a foot of water as well. Tough day, but still fun!
Species
Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureStumpsHad a fun day out there! Caught a bunch of fish. They were shallow as heck, feeding on mainly bluegill. Caught em a bunch of different ways, mainly off of hard structure, but some out of grass. Swim jigs, chatterwagons, flippin a texas rig. Can’t really go wrong this time of year. Find bluegill beds, and you’ll find fish.
