Threw the jerk bait (6'8 stick 12#) off weed/lily pad edges-point and picked up a couple smaller bass, then a couple of blow ups fromba foot or two into the pads with the swamp lord caused me to pick up the beast coast jig on a 17# leader and flip just far enough in to the pad to get the bait to fall and not get hung up on the canopy of the thicker stuff, and every time it'd get through the bite was nearly instant, but they didn't like it crashing through with a heavier jig.

Was strong wind blown shore. Just making parallel casts to the bank had a lot of followers on a black and blue chatterbait, switched up trailers couldn't get them to commit, then started burning the hybrid hunter and quickly picked up a couple, and a nice chunk as we lost daylight. 🌬️🐟🔥
