Largemouth BassTechniqueGrass JigsSeasonSummerStructureDocksFished tournament of champions for my summer league on September 12th 2021 (Weather was beautiful, Small amount of wind, high sun). Caught one of the best limits of our year. Skip a jig deep under docks. Best fishing was the first bay as you come out from under the bridge from transitioning from south center to north center, we lost the fish that would of won us the tournament in this very bay. Stealth Feider jig in 3/8 oz Money craw did best paired with Googan Baits Bama bug Krackin craw. Biggest fish came from the area highlighted in picture.

Northern PikeTechniqueTrolling Shallow (0-9')SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationFishing Opener 2020 was a typical opener with cooler temps mixed with wind and rain here and there. Water temp was 52-54 degrees, down from 60 degrees a week earlier. Pike (and Bass) all seemed to be in deeper water and were not interested in flashy presentations like spoons or spinnerbaits. Instead most of the hits came on a shallow running stickbait trolled between 7 and 11 feet just outside the weedlines and at a speed of 2-3.5mph.

CrappieTechniqueCrappie Sniping (Casting/Single Poling)SeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationCrappies are lining the shores. They were stacked in large groups anywhere from 3' to 20'. Pick your favorite 1/16oz jig head and 2" plastic and start fan casting until you find them. Be sure to switch up colors until you find what they want. Orange was the color on this outing.

Largemouth BassTechniqueGrass JigsSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureDocksFishing was super tough but managed to find a few up shallow on the docks and matted grass. The biggest was 4 and caught multiple that were close to that size. Jig was the main deal getting way under the docks were there was clean bottom.

Largemouth BassTechniqueWacky RigsSeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureLily PadsThe bass were thick in the lily pads. We caught them cast after cast. Did not see any on the beds. We would cast out and let the worm soak for a few seconds and a bass would pick it up. We caught many 12-14 inch bass and a few up to 3 pounds. I think there were a lot of fry guarders present. We have been catching some on inside weed edges in sandy areas also using wacky worms and ned rigs. We used 15 lb fluorocarbon for the wacky worms in the pads and 10 lb fluorocarbon for the ned rigs.
