The bass were thick in the lily pads. We caught them cast after cast. Did not see any on the beds. We would cast out and let the worm soak for a few seconds and a bass would pick it up. We caught many 12-14 inch bass and a few up to 3 pounds. I think there were a lot of fry guarders present. We have been catching some on inside weed edges in sandy areas also using wacky worms and ned rigs. We used 15 lb fluorocarbon for the wacky worms in the pads and 10 lb fluorocarbon for the ned rigs.
