Hooking into these big bass in heavy bulrushes was a ton of fun. The water was clear and some of the fish were extremely shallow on stumps. The shallow fish were spooky and you had to make precise casts from a distance to get bites, the deep fish I ended up switching to 40lb braid to pull fish from the heavy bulrushes.
