We went out on opener for a few hours, the water temp was 64-65 and it seemed like bass were already off beds and in post spawn patterns. Most fish were caught throwing an evo with a live magic shad trailer on a flat or outside weed edge and bass would hit it on the pause after ripping through vegetation. Other bass were caught on a ned and a jig

For numbers of bass (not necessarily big ones) I looked for isolated vegetation in 14-16 fow and slowly worked a wacky drop shot. Also caught a few flipping weed edges with a jig and t rig.water temps were still only 70 degrees and the water was as high as I've ever seen it, with more vegetation than I've seen too.
