Largemouth we’re directly related to cover just outside of coves where bluegill beds were visible in shallow water. Texas rigs and jigs with a touch of chartreuse on the tail seemed to work best.

Shad are using main lake points to spawn and largemouth and white bass are chasing them. Parallel point with the square bill. Once the sun comes up, transition to the swim jig and reel it slowly above rocks and through brush. Some bass are still spawning, but fish will be chasing bait more as the month moves on.
