Largemouth BassTechniqueHard Topwater (Prop)SeasonSummerStructureReedsFished the evening bite with an incoming tide. The wind was howling at 20+ mph with current ripping in so boat positioning was tough. Fished the Choppo near isolated tulles reeling in with a slow bubbling action and it would get crushed within a handful of turns right next to the isolated cover. Fished shallow and deep and the fish were very active. Punch bit was alive as well, but the water and wind movement made it really difficult to keep in position for any amount of time. Punching 2 foot of water with the rear of the boat sitting in 10+ feet.

Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureRip RapAnother windy day on the CA Delta but the fishing was on fireāover 20 fish to the boat all on a chatterbait and Whopper Plopper. Fished along the riprap on the west side working parallel to the bank the fish were very cooperativeājust the size wasnāt there. Fished for a few hours and wasnāt able to cull out anything of any size, but the non stop action made it for a very productive and fun trip. The Delta is fishing really well right now and you can catch over 50 in a day.
