Used a BPS silver 2.5" blade bait in the east end canal after dark. Using 10 lb Power Pro braid with a 12 lb Seaguar fluorocarbon leader rips the blade bait best having no stretch in the line and allows for solid hooksets. Rip the bait up 3-4 ft then allow it to swim back to the bottom before ripping it again. Caught several walleye over a 2 hr span, but only one over the 15" minimum.

Laydowns
Casting from shore/wading after dark with Challenger Stick baits, standard 4" size, in black/silver and Sand Perch patterns connected with a small standard clip. Used a slow steady retrieve. Using 10 lb hi-vis Power Pro braid main line with a 12 lb Seaguar fluorocarbon leader allows for maximum casting distance, powerful hooksets, and minimal visibility by the fish. Landed 12 in 3 hours.
