I was twitching the jerk minnow very fast up to fish that I could see then when it got close to them I would kill it and let it fall right in front of them. They would either eat it on the fall or on the first twitch after I let it hit the bottom.

Snapping and dragging bucktails (black, black/purple, black/blue) through weeds and weed edges produced several nice fish. Fish ranged in depth from 7' to 14'. All fish were caught in the bay outside of the South Bay state boat launch.
