Yellow PerchTechniqueIce Fishing SpoonsSeasonIceStructureOpen Water/BasinThe flats on the south end of the lake off of Otsego Lake State Park has several large schools of quality perch circling around every 10-15 minutes. They wont stay for more than a minute so you have to wait for them to loop around. Navionics is wrong but the best fishing was around 11-12 feet straight out from the park. North end has some walleye but so does south end. We couldn't get them to bite but saw them on the aquavu camera. Perch wouldn't bite anything other than a spoon that's been sitting for 5 seconds or so and sometimes a rapala. Jigging too much will scare them off. Tip the trebles with red spikes.
