Fished shoreline cover included laydowns, boulders, grass patches with a "scent-enhanced" Zoom speed craw rigged weedless on an Owner Finesse jighead in 1 to 4 feet of water. Worked laydowns from deep end in to bank swimming it over branches and letting it free fall to bottom. Also swam/drug jig along bottom until contacting weeds or rocks then try to pop free and settle back to bottom. Though most bass (including a few smallmouths) hit around cover, a couple chased and ate the craw when swimming back to make next cast.
