First time on Owen Lake - bigger lake to cover in a kayak, explored a good portion of it. Caught a few in deeper water using a variety of lures. Texas Rig, bladed jig and swim jig mostly. Had my best luck tossing a weightless Yum Dinger on the edge of the pads. Nothing big, but caught quite a few fish and had a great time. The Mustad Alpha point hooks are my new favorite hook for finesse situations. Stupid sharp and I’ve lost very few fish when using them.
