It was a warmer day around 55 degrees and was sunny and calm on the water. I started out with a juggle minnow and didn't get anything, so I switched to a dt 8 and started burning it shallow over open flats and finally got a bite.

It was a warm day with a little breeze and stained water with a ton of vegetation. This lake is full of weeds and brush piles, so anything with a treble hook is very hard to fish. I wanted something moving, so I tied on a screw lock hook and rigged the mayor weedless. I was working it over the tops of vegetation and along the edge of some brush, and that's where I got the bite.
