The water level is pretty low and the bite was really slow. Had some luck throwing a spinnerbait all around the grass flats. Also had some luck on the main point. Never really caught anything that big, most were about 1.5lbs.

The water levels at Pelican Lake are very high due to recent rains/storms. Finding trees/branches that have fallen into the water was a key to catching a run of 16 to 18 inch LMB. Be aware that the parking lot is sand/dirt and is flooded and that the DNR has taken the dock out due to the extreme high water level (the ramp is completely covered with water).
