Also had some luck on the main point. Never really caught anything that big, most were about 1.5lbs.

Finding trees/branches that have fallen into the water was a key to catching a run of 16 to 18 inch LMB. Be aware that the parking lot is sand/dirt and is flooded and that the DNR has taken the dock out due to the extreme high water level (the ramp is completely covered with water).

The large point on this lake produces a perfect Bass habitat. Stay on the wind blown side and fish the ledge of this point throwing a jig, bounce down the ledge to find the fish. Early evening fishing produced multiple fish over 4 pounds.
