Didn’t catch any giants but was able to get a few keeper smallmouth on a tough lake fishing around any rock I could find.

The lake was brutally tough this weekend fish were spread out on bare spots, deep edges or shallow edges thicker grass with rock close was best

I used the swim bait and chatter bait exclusively. I was searching new spot and found the smallies on inside turns of deep weeds.

Carolina rig and minnow, and ball jig head and minnow drifted over flats in 10-15’ water produced multiple big bites on a beautiful October day. Water temps 61. Also had success with largemouth bass and smallmouth bass on rocky points with 1/2 spinnerbaits.
