Spent most of the day hunting down male bass guarding the bed when a hefty 3lb female snapped at my crawfish imitation crankbait that I was yo-yoing and dragging low to the beds.

Ice went out overnight and I was out fishing. This is a great time of year to fish this lake as the fishing pressure hasn't started building.
