Use sidescan around the edges of the lake to find dense weed lines. We fished in about 14 feet of water slow rolling small swimbaits along the well-defined weed lines that came up to about 2 feet below the surface. Fish will be stacked on the edge of the weeds waiting to ambush prey swimming around the vegetation.
